Bandelier National Monument

The park harbors Anasazi (early Pueblo Indian) ruins and cliff dwellings among deep canyons and cliffs on the edge of one of the largest inactive volcanoes in the world. Join us for a trip to the ruins of prehistoric Tyuonyi village or for a longer walk in this internationally known area. The trip also includes scenic stops and interpretation of the sites to and from Bandelier. This is our most popular tour! 5 hours $90.

Abiquiu and the Georgia O'Keeffe Country: In the Chama River Valley lies an astounding landscape of villages, mountains, desert rivers and red rocks made famous by artist Georgia O'Keeffe. On this trip we'll visit the picturesque village of Abiquiu, and the legendary Ghost Ranch, where vibrantly colored cliffs yield dinosaur bones. A true sense of old New Mexico. 5 hours $90 .

Taos: Our Taos tour offers a vivid experience of the Southwest; stunning scenery, rich artistic traditions, and Taos Pueblo; one of the oldest inhabited buildings in the United States. See the dramatic Rio Grande Gorge, the heart of the Taos Art Colony, and other stops. 8 hours $115.  (Note: On occasion, Taos Pueblo closes unexpectedly and without notice. The Pueblo is but one stop on our Taos trip. We do not offer discounts or refunds for trips where the Pueblo is closed. We make every effort to find out in advance if the Pueblo is open.)

New Mexico Sampler : Enjoy a genuine taste of the Spanish and Pueblo cultures of New Mexico. We'll visit the Spanish village of Chimayo with it's legendary church, local crafts and chile. Travel across the Rio Grande to an Indian Pueblo renowned for it's pottery. From a high cliff we'll overlook breathtaking views of the region. A perfect loop. 4 hrs. $80

Chaco National Historic Park lies three hours from Santa Fe in the San Juan Basin, surrounded by the Navajo Reservation. Chaco is a place for people with a deep interest in the Puebloan culture as these are the most significant "Anasazi" ruins in the Southwest. The beautiful drive to get to Chaco passes through stunning desert landscapes and brings us to this remote National Park Service area. We walk through the remains of beautifully crafted sandstone pueblos which were abandoned around the year 1300. Due to the distance and staffing needs, this tour is offered for a minimum of 4 guests at $150 per person including box lunch.
For all our tours please call as far in advance as you are able. We do tours once we have a minimum number of people to go that day. We can do private tours as well. Tours include transportation, entrance fees, water and snacks.
